Judge Advocate Erik Luker

Erik is a United States Marine Corps Sergeant who fought in Afghanistan and Iraq. After separating from service, Erik briefly worked in corrections before becoming a Police Officer and rising to the rank of Police Lieutenant. Erik holds a bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies from Montclair State University and a Master’s of Science degree in cyber security from Boston University; Erik also teaches at the police academy. As our Chief Legal Officer, he guides the post and resolves disputes. Erik initiated several programs such as the annual veteran’s day dinner, veteran’s readjustment surf outing, and our annual memorial ruck-march event. Erik added a weight room and library to our building during major post renovations, secured funding, and constructed the veterans killed in action memorial at Memorial Middle school. Erik states that his greatest achievement is, by far, handing off the post to the current leadership team.
