About our Event Space

1) How much does it cost to book and how much time?

You can book out the space for $500 and the hall is yours to decorate and set up for the entire day.  The basic party time is 4 hours for $500 however you can purchase additional hours for $75.  Additional hours may currently be booked on scene.  All party's must conclude no later than midnight.

2) How many people can the space hold?

120 people with the tables and chairs (which we provide at no additional cost) and 200 people without tables and chairs.

3) Are tables and chairs provided for us? 

Yes - You need to set them up prior to your event and then fold them back up and sweep and clean the room afterwards. If you'd like, we can provide cleaning and folding service as well for an additional $100 fee.  That option may be selected during the booking process.

The tables are rectangular shaped and measure 7 1/2 long by 2 1/2 feet wide.

4) Can we bring alcohol? 

Yes - the space is BYOB friendly, as long as you respect the law and are not disturbing the peace.

5) How is the parking? 

We offer plenty of parking in our two, adjacent, private parking lots.  Street parking is also allowed on the North bound side of Mount Pleasant Avenue, the same side of the road the Legion is located on.

6) Can I decorate the hall and if so when may I start? 

Decorations may be set up 24 hours in advance depending on the night of your party.  If there is a party scheduled at the Legion the night before, decorations may not be arranged until the conclusion of the previous party.  We ask that our guests NOT USE any form of scotch tape to adhere decorations to the wall and use sticky tack instead.  All decorations must be removed at the conclusion of the rental.

7) What day is best for me to come see the rental space? 

We encourage our guests to view the photos provided throughout our website.  To see the space in person, the best time is Thursday night between the hours of 7 and 9 p.m.   For other arrangements please email us and we will do our best to make special accommodations.

8)  Are DJs allowed? 

We encourage our guests to relax, have fun, and party!  Music boom boxes and DJ's are common at the hall.  We just ask that you respect the neighbors and keep the sound to an appropriate level.
